But if a girl can get a reprieve from serving an eternity-long sentence in the underworld by fighting demons on the earthly realm alongside one of Demeter's hotter-than-July immortal gold warriors, anything's possible, am I right? Having her past life memories resurface slower than a leaky faucet while tracking down the leader of a demon horde who's determined to kill off the human race is getting on her last nerve. Philoctetes, the golden warrior adonis who fights the bad guys by her side each day and haunts her hormones-in-overdrive dreams at night might literally be the end of her. Just for kicks and giggles, those quirky-like-a-cobra Fates have decreed that if Dora gives in to the temptations of love during this lifetime, she'll simply cease to exist, with all memories of her time on earth wiped away forever. As a cherry on top of her now nuttier-than-a-circus life, Ares, god of war, has shown up in all his bad boy hotness, claiming she owes him the kind of a favor that could send her back to hell faster than a moth to a flame. Thank the goddess for friends. Having Nemeretes and Persephone at her side, as well as a motley crew of more-than-they-seem immortal misfits determined to help her fight the baddies gives her hope for another day. Who knows?
